Road and traffic signs keep drivers safe and keep projects compliant. Magno Tanzania fabricates TANROADS-compliant traffic signs with the correct shapes, colours and retro-reflective sheeting, on rust-proof aluminium — for public roads, estates, car parks, mine haul roads and construction zones.
Sign types we produce:
- Regulatory — Stop, Give Way, Speed Limit, No Entry, No Parking (red / white / black).
- Warning — Bends, Pedestrian Crossing, School Zone, Bumps, Animals (yellow / black).
- Guide / Information — Direction, route markers, destination and facility signs (green / blue / white).

Reflectivity, Material & Mounting
For traffic signs, reflectivity grade is the most important choice — it decides how visible the sign is at night and in bad weather.
Reflectivity Grades
- Engineer Grade (Standard) — good visibility for low-speed roads, car parks, estates and private access.
- High-Intensity (Premium) — much brighter; the right choice for busy public roads and junctions.
- Diamond Grade (Ultra) — maximum brightness for highways, high-speed roads and critical safety signs.
Backing Material
- Aluminium (Heavy-duty) — rust-proof, the standard for permanent road signs.
- Galvanised Steel — tougher and more impact-resistant for high-risk locations.
- Alucobond (Premium) — aluminium composite, ultra-flat, premium for large guide and gantry signs.
Mounting Hardware
- U-Channel Posts (Pair) — the standard roadside post for most signs.
- Square Tube Posts — heavier-duty for large signs and windy locations.
- Bolt-on Brackets — fix signs to existing poles, walls or gantries.
- Portable Stand — free-standing base for temporary and roadworks signs.
Protective Overlaminate
A clear film over the sign face shields the reflective sheeting from graffiti, scratching and UV fade. On public roads and unmanned locations it noticeably extends the sign's life — worth adding for any long-term installation.

There are 3 easy ways to order traffic and road signs from Magno Tanzania:
1. Pick a Standard Sign
Choose a sign type, type the legend, pick size, reflectivity and mounting. We use TANROADS-compliant templates — no artwork needed from you.
2. Upload Your Own
Have a specific guide sign or project template? Upload your PDF/AI/EPS and we'll fabricate it on your chosen material and grade.
3. Road Project via WhatsApp
Signing a whole road, estate or site? Send your sign schedule on WhatsApp — we'll quote fabrication, posts and installation as one package.
Information we'll need:
- Sign type & legend — e.g. Speed Limit 50, and any bilingual text.
- Road speed / location — this decides the reflectivity grade required.
- Size and quantity — per sign, or your full sign schedule.
- Mounting — new posts, existing poles, or portable stands.
- Installation — do you need us to install, or fabricate only?
Delivery, Installation & Production
When will my signs be ready?
Standard traffic signs are fabricated and dispatched within 3-5 working days. Diamond-grade sheeting, posts and large road-project sets may take longer. Express options are available for urgent roadworks and safety deadlines.
Delivery within Tanzania
Signs are packed with face protection to prevent scratching in transit. Typical timing:
- Geita (our base) — same-day or next-day pickup/delivery.
- Mwanza, Shinyanga, Kahama — 1-2 working days.
- Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Dodoma, Mbeya — 2-3 working days.
- Remote road projects & mine sites — quoted with the job.
Installation
