Safety signage isn't optional — it's a legal and moral requirement on every worksite, factory floor, hospital, mine and construction project in Tanzania. Magno Tanzania produces OSHA- and ISO-compliant safety signs with the correct colours, symbols and text, on durable materials built to survive sun, rain and dust.
Sign types we produce:
- Prohibition — No Smoking, No Entry, No Naked Flames (red & white).
- Fire & Emergency — Fire Exit, Assembly Point, Fire Extinguisher location.
- PPE Required — Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Hi-Vis, Ear Protection (blue & white).

Choosing Material, Print & Mounting
Three choices decide how long a sign lasts and how visible it is: the material it's made on, the print type, and how it's mounted.
Material
- Aluminium (Heavy-duty) — the outdoor standard. Rigid, rust-free, lasts years in the sun.
- Alucobond (Premium) — aluminium composite panel, ultra-flat and premium for entrance and corporate signs.
- Corex (Budget Outdoor) — corrugated plastic, light and cheap for temporary or site signs.
- Foam Board (Indoor) — lightweight, for offices, hospitals and indoor notices.
- ABS Plastic — moulded plastic, durable indoor/outdoor for smaller signs.
Print Type
- Vinyl (Standard) — printed vinyl applied to the panel. Good for most indoor and sheltered signs.
- Reflective — reflects headlights and torchlight. Required for roadside, car parks and low-light areas.
- UV Direct Print — ink cured directly onto the panel. The most durable and fade-resistant outdoors.
Mounting
- Drill holes — for screwing or bolting to walls, posts and fences.
- Double-sided tape — quick indoor mounting on smooth walls and doors.
- Stand-offs / spacers — chrome spacers for a premium raised look on reception and office signs.

Information we'll need:
- Exact sign wording — and whether you need it in English, Swahili or both.
- Indoor or outdoor — this decides material and print type.
- Size and quantity — per sign, or a full site list.
- Mounting surface — wall, post, fence, glass or door.
- Any compliance standard your site must meet (OSHA, ISO 7010, client-specific).
Delivery & Production
When will I receive my signs?
Standard signs are produced and dispatched within 3-5 working days. Larger site sets, CNC-cut shapes and custom sizes may take a little longer. Express options are available for urgent compliance deadlines and audits.
Delivery within Tanzania
Signs are packed flat and protected against edge damage in transit. Typical timing:
- Geita (our base) — same-day or next-day pickup/delivery.
- Mwanza, Shinyanga, Kahama — 1-2 working days.
- Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Dodoma, Mbeya — 2-3 working days.
- Other regions & remote mine sites — 3-5 working days.
Installation
For large orders in the Geita and Lake Zone area we can arrange on-site installation. Ask us when you order and we'll include it in your quote.
